Practical Concealed Carry (After the Permit)

* Reservation fees made for training are "non-refundable." Classes can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the date of the class, if fail to reschedule the full cost of the class will be lost. Members will have a 20% discount in all classes taught by MCTA. Discounts will not include guest instructors who are not affiliated with MCTA Inc.

Class Synopsis:
The next step in your training is the Practical Concealed Carry course. This is a 3 hour course that is all range time.
On the Range you will learn to:
- Shoot fairly quickly without sacrificing accuracy
- Present a weapon safely and quickly from the holster
- Draw safely and quickly from concealment
- Reload rapidly and efficiently
Details:
Class duration 4 hours
From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Bring:
An appropriate self-defense pistol or revolver
Should be 9mm or higher
A .22 can be used but not recommended
At least 2 magazines or Speed loaders
50 rounds of jacketed ammunition
Quality (Non-Collapsing) holster
Suitable Sturdy Belt
Concealment garment (Light Jacket or vest with open front recommended)
Magazine or Speed loader pouch is recommended.
Safety glasses
Ear protection
Plenty of water
Lunch
Wear getting dirty clothes
A few sets of rental gear (Gun, Holster, Belt, Etc…) are available on a first come first serve basis. If rental gear is desired you must inform the instructor at least 48 hours prior to class. Rental gear fee is $25.00
