Service Description

* Reservation fees made for training are "non-refundable." Classes can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the date of the class, if fail to reschedule the full cost of the class will be lost. Members will have a 20% discount in all classes taught by MCTA. Discounts will not include guest instructors who are not affiliated with MCTA Inc. Non-Members: $245 Members: $195 (20% off) Class Synopsis: The CQB (Close Quarters Battle) Fundamentals Course is designed to teach the baseline skills of room entry. You will be introduced to the building block skills that will advance your abilities. Emphasis will be placed on the basic fundamentals and a firm understanding of room entry techniques. You will leave this course with a solid understanding of the principles of CQB and the individual tasks when clearing rooms. This course will establish the fundamental level to progress on to advanced CQB, Home Defense, Active Shooter and more. During this course you will learn: - CQB Fundamentals and Principles - Tactical Order of Engagement - Basic Clearance Procedures - Lethal Shot Placement - Shooting while moving Forward and Laterally - Lateral Target Transitions - Target Discrimination Details: Class duration 8 hours From 8:00 am to 4:00 pm The first part of this class will be taught in our indoor facility (1309 Hauhg Av. Picayune, MS 39466) and the other part at the range. Bring: 200 rounds pistol and 3 mags 200 rounds rifle and 3 mags Groin Protector Mouth Piece / Mouthguard Ball Cap, Long Sleeve Shirt and/or Light Jacket Long Pants Tactical Boots or Athletic Shoes Safety glasses and ear-pro Plenty of water Lunch *MCTA will provide - Face shields, AirSoft weapons and equipment.
